Wingtons is located in Clarence Point, next to the Tamar River, about an hour from Launceston airport. It is only 45 minutes to the heart of Launceston, an hour to Devonport with it’s airport and where the Spirit of Tasmania docks and around 3 hours to Hobart.  

Clarence Point is ideally situated to explore the more than thirty vineyards in the Tamar Valley Wine Route as well as the local towns of Beauty Point and Beaconsfield. 

Cradle Mountain is an easy 2 hour drive and you can stop in at the Tasmanian Food & Wine Conservatory on your way for some delicious local fare. 

When you arrive at Wingtons, you check in at Westwynd Cottage then it’s just a short stroll through the beautiful natural setting to your luxury accommodation. We are on hand to show you your tents, talk you through how things work and help you with your luggage. 

The views from all the encampments at Wingtons Glamping are breathtaking; you can see along Tamar Valley to the mountains, miles of forest and the majestic river itself.
